A student’s experience

“I found having a senior HSC teacher run the lecture was a massive help. He knew the areas to focus on and pointed out the things students normally get marked wrong.”

Is this the help your child needs?

When they know the content, but need help putting it into an answer.

They’re unsure how to start.

See a teacher break down a question and plan the response, then practise those decisions.

They can’t see what’s missing.

Connect marking expectations to the structure, evidence and reasoning in an answer.

They need a clearer study plan.

Use guided practice and feedback to identify what to work on in the final weeks.

How the teaching helps

Make the decisions behind a strong response visible.

Your child sees how an experienced HSC teacher approaches a question, then works on applying that approach themselves.

  1. 01

    Understand the question

The teacher explains what the question asks and which course knowledge matters.

  2. 02

    Follow the response decisions

Watch how a response is planned and constructed, including the choice of structure, evidence or working.

  3. 03

    Practise, discuss and improve

Apply the approach to HSC-style questions with teacher guidance, feedback and correction.

The workshop day · 9am–4pm

See it explained. Practise it. Know what to improve.

Every workshop moves from understanding the mark target to guided practice and a practical final-weeks revision plan.

Is it worth a day away from their own study?

The day brings explanation, practice and correction together, helping your child identify what to focus on when they return to independent revision.

  1. Review the core content

Connect key syllabus content to the questions students need to answer.

  2. See what markers reward

Understand how structure, evidence and clear reasoning make a response stronger.

  3. Watch a teacher build a response

Follow the decisions behind planning and constructing a high-range answer.

  4. Practise HSC-style questions

Apply those decisions yourself with guided practice during the day.

  5. Get feedback and correct mistakes

Use teacher guidance to identify gaps and improve the way you respond.

  6. Leave with your next steps

Build a practical plan for what to revise and practise before the HSC.

A few things parents ask.

Who is this workshop for?

Year 12 students sitting the 2026 HSC who want to review key content and practise applying it to exam-style questions.

My child already has a tutor. Will this still help?

What does practice and feedback involve?

Students work through HSC-style questions with teacher guidance, feedback and correction during the day. For questions about the feedback format in a particular subject, contact our team.

What should my child bring?

Bring writing materials, water and lunch, and a laptop or tablet if used for study. A subject workbook and workshop resources are included.

Can I book more than one subject?

Yes. Start with one subject and add others to the same cart. Any available bundle saving is shown before payment. Choose sessions that do not overlap.
