In the next few months, InspirED will launch its services with a trial distribution of two newsletters, one each in the last school term of '08 and the first term of '09. Through the newsletters, InspirED will:
* collect and collate research and information about ICT in education, then disseminate it in a format that is useful for teachers and school leaders
* foster the beginnings of greater collaboration between the states and territories around the use of ICT in education.

This site is no longer functional, but keep an eye out for InspirED's new website and the inaugural newsletter in October.

InspirED digital story competition
Thank you to entrants in the InspirED digital story competition.

First prize winner: Neroli Gilmour from Yarrilee State School in Queensland showcases her use of podcasting and gives an excellent outline that will help interested teachers implement it in their own classrooms.

Second prize winner: Mark Sparrell of Victor Harbour Primary School in South Australia. Mark's entry demonstrates his use of the Centra collaborative web environment to connect and engage students across SA, WA and NT with the National Values Education Framework.
